The Studio was founded in 2006 by Nuno Correia, a photographer with a renowned career that started in 1992. Through the years, he collaborated closely with various prominent magazines, developing a unique editorial aesthetic sensitivity that became a major influence in the advertising work he started doing in 2003.

By 2006, the huge success of his early advertising work lead to the creation of Nuno Correia Photography studio, aimed at setting the benchmark for high quality comercial photography, equipped with the best technical equipment and a very talented group of professionals, including its own in-house post-production team.

While the initial focus was on tabletop photography, clients soon started challenging the Studio to do a much wider variety of work, which we embraced with the same passion and commitment to excellence.

Video was the expected natural evolution as part of an integrated process of high-quality image production. In 2013, Slow Studio was founded, a high-end film production endeavour again focused on tabletop and built on the same grounding principles of excellence. Fully prepared for the most demanding jobs and creative needs, it is equipped with high-speed cameras, Cinebots (Bolt), Spinner, an editing/grading suite, and, no less important, a group of passionate professionals.

Slow Studio soon became a market reference, recognised for being behind some of the most creative and innovative campaigns, in close collaboration with clients, agencies and creative directors worldwide.

In 2024, we opened a new location in Madrid, fully equipped and prepared to tackle the most demanding photography and film productions in this important market.

Our motto is that it's only impossible until it's done.

A big challenge of working with a very specialised and high-end workflow was that we never had the time to help our clients with their less high-end campaigns! With this in mind, together with two of my former producers and friends, we created Real Simple Studios - a production company aimed at swifter projects with simpler needs, both in video and photography, where I act as Creative Supervisor. Over countless campaigns, Real Simple has become its own powerhouse and has found a special place in its clients’ hearts.

Between these three Studios, all placed on top of each other in the same building, we have built 1290m2 of pure creative energy. I am immensely proud of my staff and all the projects we have helped create since 2006, but what really excites us are the ideas and projects which are yet to come!
