Alberto was born in North of Spain ( Navarre ), under normal conditions, to be honest during sales, he grew up in a region where food impregnates everything, creating a vivid culture around flavors. He started to study Engineering but realized that art, cinema, design, music, ideas and emotions were the mechanisms what he liked the most. He changed his mind and ended up studying Film Direction and Sound Design in Barcelona, where he lived 13 years before he moved to Oslo and now after some years in Scandinavia he is back in the land of flavors with his family.
Previously he worked as a film-editor for artists so he knows what is to be lost in the middle of the ocean, also he worked as an creative director for different brands so he knows what is to be the life jacket in the ocean, and he works as a Director, so he knows what is to be the lighthouse on the coast or at least the lighthouse keeper with the permission of agency and client ;)
Alberto is a director with a contemporary and aesthetic gaze, his films are visually attractive and his work is based on an impeccable design, a careful and inventive art direction and a suggestive and cinematic storytelling.
His films are a combination of mesmerizing images with a magnetic way of showing them which definitely engage viewers, any technique is welcome, from slow-motion, stop-motion to live action, he has a precise but artistic approach to the brief in order to make the story grow, to convey the message in the most tempting manner.
He combines his job as Director in advertising with works as visual artist, creating photographies to push forward the boundaries between objects, meanings and emotions, also he recently premiered Mental Soirée the third Short Film of a trilogy which Food works as a vehicle to convey stories.
